![]() In OBS I have to set it to Speakers (2- Focusrite USB audio).īut I just can't get it to work with the Focusrite USB audio device for recording. I've also used Audio capture as source in OBS, which also only works with the Windows driver activated in Studio One. This driver does NOT work with Focusrite devices in Windows 10 version 1703. I've also tried using Reastream to send a local broadcast and load it as a VST in OBS, but same story: only works with windows audio driver :( I'm not sure if it's a settings issue in OBS or an issue with my Focusrite. This means that, if you dont install the driver for your device by following the steps above and instead connect your interface to the computer without installing any drivers, the Microsoft USB 2.0 Audio Class Driver will be assigned to your interface instead. I really want to use the Focusrite driver though, as it improves latency greatly. Expand the various buses until you find your USB controllers. To view what bus your interface is connected to, open Device Manager (available from Control Panel), open the View menu and select Devices by connection. Connect the interface to its own USB bus. But ONLY when having the Windows driver selected in Studio One. With any audio interface, you must trade performance/latency for stability. When recording my audio from Studio One, the OBS Desktop Audio shows and records the audio perfectly. Select your product type Scarlett 18i6 1st Gen Scarlett 8i6 1st Gen Scarlett Solo 1st Gen. Please note that Saffire 6 USB 1. I'm creating Youtube videos on music production and use a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 1st gen audio interface. The USB 1.1 version of the Saffire 6 USB is not officially supported with Windows 11, though it may work.
